Community & Missions

Our buildings are in regular use. Weekly local groups that meet here include Alcoholics Anonymous, Berwick Probus and the A Cappella Fellas Men’s Choir, and we host our own Friendship group.

Hire our spaces

We have spaces for gatherings of many kinds, small or large, with kitchen and bathroom facilities available. To enquire, contact the church office at st_andrews@berwick.unitingchurch.org.au.

Local Missions

Transit Food Bank

We support the Transit Food Bank in Narre Warren, near the railway station. It is open four days a week; see their website and Facebook page for details.

Cranbourne Regional UCA Food Truck

The food truck goes out four nights a week with hot and cold food and drinks, plus some food to take home, for those in need. See their website and Facebook page for details.

Prison Fellowship

We take part particularly through the Angel Tree at Christmas, giving presents to prisoners’ children on their behalf, and by making home-made biscuits for the prisoners.

National Missions

We support many national appeals and causes, including Uniting World, Act for Peace (Christmas Bowl), the Royal Flying Doctor Service, The Leprosy Mission, the Sammy Stamp project and the Lions Club glasses collection.
