Our Vision and Call to Action

At St Andrews we are a diverse congregation of different ages cultures and backgrounds.

We are an active friendly group of people of all ages who enjoy the warm friendly, caring surrounding of St Andrew's.

If you are considering checking us out please come along and enjoy the friendly caring environment. We have a large number of fellowship groups and activities for Christian development and there is always something happening at St Andrew's.

Our  minister Rev. John Payne is our full time minister at St Andrew's and is working with the congregations of Berwick and Officer to take up the challenges of Mission and Ministry during 2008. This will become a team Ministry parish with the addition of a future half time placement with focus on Officer.

(See Officer Page for some details about the developments at Officer.)

We are a Christian community so please give us a call or just drop in and  make yourself known to our Minister or to one of the Elders.

Please take time to check out our web site which details our colorful history, the times and places of worship, the current activities, and groups that St Andrew's and Officer has to offer as a means of Christian fellowship and mission outreach.

Our Vision is to:-

   Be a visible, worshipping community,
   Be a welcoming congregation
Be a faith-nurturing congregation, involving all

Our Call to Action is to:-

Be active in the local community,
especially with those on the fringes.

     Listen to others sensitively,
     responsibly and with love.

Make a commitment to sharing the
     Good News.
